Prototype Build For Bullets Go Pew Pew Release

Hey!

Welcome to the very first devlog/introduction of our game, "Bullets go pew pew"! The name may sound a bit juvenile, but what would you expect from high school freshmen? Anyways, here's a brief history of how our game came to fruition.

My name is Eddie, or Metco (My online handle), and I play games. I pretty much spend most of my life on a device either playing games or browsing the internet. One day, I came across a video on YouTube: "How indie games changed my life" by David Wehle. Long story short, I was immediately inspired and decided that my future career will be within the game development industry. After meeting up with a certain friend, namely Kevin, we started talking about our passion for games. We decided to make a small project together, just to have some fun. We began learning with the Unity game engine and spent hours and hours brainstorming ideas. Even now, I would receive countless messages from him on a daily basis, asking to discuss new potential aspects. Along the way, we recruited Samuel and Joy, both friends of ours to help with our game. They were our lead asset modelers, and although they are new to modeling, the results are splendid. Unfortunately, they are very humble and don't recognize their own potential. We are currently attempting to recruit a new member to help with scripting, and he has not replied yet. This concludes the history and team breakdown of our game.

Explaining each individual aspect of our game will take many other posts, but for now, we released a prototype build for the main concepts on our itch.io page. There isn't really anything there yet, just something to work forward on. We hope you can provide feedback as an audience, and we shall strive to improve our game.

Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Eddie
